Forest Grove ReStore is moving!

If you’ve ever moved from one home to another (and who hasn’t?!?!) you KNOW it’s a BIG JOB to pack and move and set everything back up again.  The Forest Grove Habitat ReStore is moving to a much bigger location, (the old  Tualatin Valley Chevrolet building on Pacific Ave / TV Hwy) and will be needing the helping hands of LOTS of able-bodied volunteers! 

We need Help Moving to our new location October 25th to November 3rd: 

- Packing and unpacking boxes.
 

- Lifting and moving furniture. 

- Stocking and handling donations. 

- Keeping our store organized and neat.

There are also many ONGOING opportunities for volunteer service with us:
We need volunteers every Wednesday to Saturday from 10am-4pm. 

Volunteers can sign up for 4 hour shifts (9-1pm or 1-5pm.) Volunteer duties include, but are not limited to: 

Ideally, you will: 

-Be able to lift 50+lbs. (if not, we won’t discriminate.)
-Commit to at least a 4 hour shift at a time.

Habitat for Humanity ReStores are building supply stores that accept and resell quality new and used building materials. They generate funds to support Habitat’s building programs, while reducing the amount of used materials that are headed for overflowing landfills! They are an environmentally friendly store that makes sense!

The ReStore is open Wednesdays – Saturdays; 10am – 4pm.

Many items are ‘ready to use’.  Some are good ‘project pieces’ to refinish.

New items are added daily.

Donations of reusable home furnishings are welcome.
